Tic Tac Toe is a game that you've probably played before. This is just a super easy game, right? The general public agrees with you there. But if you give it some thought, you'll see that Tic Tac Toe isn't as easy as you might have thought!
How to play
Your opponent is the O's, and you are the X's. When it's your turn, you can put an X on the grid by clicking anywhere on the board. If your opponent gets three in a row, you lose. For an added challenge, see if you can make four straight moves on the 5x5 grid. Take it up a notch by switching to hard mode if things are still too easy. You can compete against the AI or play locally with a friend.
Tic Tac Toe may not look like much, but it's good for your brain all the same! The ability to think strategically and plan ahead can be improved by playing a few rounds.
Tips and Tricks
Keep your eyes on the periphery. Most players aim for the center of the field whenever possible; nevertheless, you shouldn't overlook the four corners. The corners let you simultaneously build up numerous winning moves, leaving your opponent no room to defend against them.
The Rules
The game board is a 3x3 grid.
You are X, and your pal O is the computer. To play, players take it in turns placing their markers in the open spaces.
Whoever gets three of her marks in a row (in any direction) first wins.
The game ends after all 9 squares have been used. The game concludes in a draw if no player achieves a winning streak of three marks.
