Unlike other snake games, Snake Game, the one on Coolmath actually has some interesting features. You get four blocks of tail growth instead of one after eating an apple. You'll need to be quick on your feet, because the snake travels even faster than in the first game. Can you estimate how long you might stay alive?
How to play Snake Game
Consume an abundance of apples in order to maximize your lifespan. The arrow keys are used to move your snake, while the space bar is used to halt the game. Take care you don't eat your own tail or run into the wall. Snug up against the wall. With each apple you consume while playing snake, your tail will lengthen proportionately. Simply following the screen's border will keep you from colliding with obstacles or losing your tail. This leaves the remaining space on the field unobstructed and simple to maneuver.
Tips and Tricks
Learn to handle the sudden changes in direction. Being able to pivot on a dime is a useful skill to have when playing snake. Because of the snake's rapid pace, you might not have enough time to avoid a collision. Those tight turns to avoid walls require practice, so put in your time.
It will be worth your while to wait. Because you have to react quickly to prevent the snake from collapsing, playing snake can help develop your hand-eye coordination and response time.
Simple! The arrow keys (up, down, left, and right) direct the snake's head, and the snake's body goes in that direction. The "snake" is capable of traveling in any direction except in reverse, where it would become stuck.
