In the word game Nytimes Spelling Bee, players are tasked with creating as many words as they can with a minimum of four letters. Each word must contain the puzzle's specified center letter.

How to play

Create as many words as you can that have at least four letters, including the puzzle's central letter. Words must contain at least 4 letters (no maximum limit).

Each Nytimes Spelling Bee task is chosen to highlight terms that are relatively common (with a few tougher ones periodically to keep things challenging). To keep the playing field fair for all of our solvers, we attempt to steer clear of terminology that are extremely specialized to any professional discipline.

Rules of Play

  • To spell words, join letters together.
  • Words must have a minimum of three letters.
  • Although letters can be recycled, they cannot come from the same side consecutively.
  • Solve using all letters.
  • Words cannot be hyphenated or used as proper nouns.
