How to play
Players use information about the numbers of mines in adjacent fields to try to clear a rectangular board filled with hidden "mines" or bombs without setting off any of them. The game is over if a player uncovers a mine-filled square. If no mine is found, the square will show a number showing how many squares to its immediate left and right also contain mines; if no mines are found in either of those locations, the square will go blank and all nearby squares will be exposed in a recursive fashion. Inferring the contents of additional squares, the player can then choose whether to reveal them safely or to mark them as mines. Any vessel can serve as a minesweeper if necessary, but only temporarily.
